Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens is an expansion team that was created on 1996. After the Baltimore Colts franchise relocated to Indianapolis, the city was left with no team, but on 1995 Cleveland Browns announced intention to move to Baltimore for the 1996 season. NFL approved the move and the rest is history. The Baltimore’s NFL franchise officially named Ravens after a telephone poll received record number of calls supporting the name Ravens. As a young team the Ravens became Super Bowl XXXV (2001) champions. Even for a fairly new team the Ravens had created a Hall of Famer out of Rod Woodson S (1998-2001) and a future Hall of Famer Ray Lewis LB. The team’s jersey colors are Purple, Black, Gold & White. And home ballpark in M&T; Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland.
