Their name originated from a term for a Native American Warrior and so people nicknamed them “The Bravos” and “America’s Team”. The Bravos was formerly known as the Boston Braves between 1912-1952 and then the Milwaukee Braves between 1953-1965. They have won the World Championship Series in 1914, 1957 & 1995.
