In 1946 AAFL All American Football League was formed consisting of 7 teams. Cleveland Browns was one of them. The nickname Browns is a tribute to the team’s very first head coach Paul Brown. While in the AAFL, the Browns dominated for 4 years from 1946-1949. After the NFL merger in 1950 The Browns made it to 14 NFL championship games, has 18 Division titles and made 24 Playoff Appearances. Cleveland has 21 Hall of Famers; Jim Brown FB 1957-1965, Otto Graham QB 1946-1955 are just two of them. The team’s jersey colors are Brown, Orange & White, play in Cleveland and Browns Stadium Cleveland, Ohio and headquartered at Berea, Ohio.
