The Pittsburgh Pirates are a Major League Baseball club based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They play in the Central Division of the National League and are five-time World Series Champions, in addition to the distinction of playing in the first modern World Series. The Pirates are also often referred to as the Bucs or sometimes the Buccos. The team’s ballpark is currently at the PNC Park. They have won the World Championship Series in 1909, 1925, 1960, 1971 and 1979. The team is also holding a nine East Division titles. The Pittsburgh Pirates’ team jersey colors are black, gold and white.
